STUDIO POLICY: CLASS ATTIRE

Dress Code

FDA has a designated class attire dress code for each level of dancers. In addition to the chart and examples here, you can find a complete detailed list of required dance attire, shoes and hair requirements under the individual Class Descriptions. Dance attire should show modesty and be age appropriate. No baggy clothes allowed for technique classes requiring leotards or fitted dancewear. Dancers must have proper fitting shoes in the specific style and color for all classes. Dancers may wear appropriate undergarments as needed, but they are not to be visible. Females in our Classic Dancer Program may wear a black sports bra if one is needed. Male dancers in our Classic Dancer Program will need to invest in a dance belt.  Proper attire is an essential tool for the dancers and students will not be permitted into class if they are not dressed properly after 3 violations.
