FDA has a designated dress code for each dance level. Full attire, shoe, and hair requirements are listed under individual Class Descriptions. Dancewear must be modest, age-appropriate, and fitted—baggy clothing is not allowed in technique classes. Properly fitted shoes in the correct style and color are required. Undergarments must not be visible; female dancers in the Classic Dancer Program may wear a black sports bra if needed, and male dancers must wear a dance belt. After three dress code violations, students will not be allowed to participate in class.
